Hogan Takes Lead Again In 142nd Legislative District Election
A Bucks County Board of Elections update Monday changed the vote with a new leader emerging once again. Hogan leads Moffa now by 114 votes.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The back-and-forth lead shifts in the 142nd Legislative District race changed once again after the Bucks County Board of Elections updated its unofficial election results Monday.
With more ballots being tallied, Republican Joseph Hogan —who was trailing by two votes at the last update Thursday—has now taken the lead over Democrat Mark Moffa by 114 votes after the Board of Elections updated its tallies Monday.
The race is one of two races —the other in nearby Montgomery County —in which the balance of power in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

A Moffa victory would give the Democrats majority control of the House at 102 members.
As of Monday afternoon, Hogan had 15,353 votes —or 5008 percent —while Moffa had garnered 15,239 votes —or 49.71 percent —in unofficial results, the Bucks County Board of Elections reported.

Voter turnout still stands at 65 percent in Bucks County, but absentee and mail-in ballots are still noted as partially reported.
Hogan had held a five-vote lead as of early Wednesday morning with 100 percent of the precincts reporting, but that didn't account for absentee and mail-in ballots that the elections board had partially reported.
But then an updated tally Thursday shifted the lead to Moffa by two votes.
The 142nd Legislative District consists of Penndel, Middletown Township, Langhorne, Langhorne Manor, Lower Southampton Township and parts of Northampton Township.
