House Fire Under Investigation In Croydon
The Third District Fire Company fought the blaze on Main Avenue early Sunday morning during frigid temperatures.
CROYDON, PA —A fire at a two-story home over the weekend is under investigation.
The Third District Fire Company responded to a home in the 1000 block of Main Avenue at 6:38 a.m. Sunday to find heavy fire from the rear of the property.
The call was upgraded and Engine 14 arrived and went to work on opening the roof. Tower 14 arrived and went to the interior and pulled the ceiling and walls to expose any hidden fire.

Twelve fire crew members from Engine 14 helped Engine 11 with packing their supply hose after the fire was put under control.
Fire officials said the temperature at the time of the fire Sunday morning was 17 degrees.

The fire is under investigation by the Bristol Township Fire Marshal's Office.
