House Fire Under Investigation In Levittown

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —An early Thursday morning house fire in the Golden Ridge section of Levittown is under investigation, fire officials said.

The Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Station 13 responded at 3:44 a.m. Thursday to a house fire on Greenbriar Road.

Fire crews found heavy smoke and a vehicle in the driveway with no one present outside. A quick search of the home didn't find anyone inside.

The fire was quickly extinguished the fire in the kitchen and living room and was brought under control within 30 minutes, fire officials said.

The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.

Meanwhile, just after noon on Sunday, the fire company responded to an auto extrication.

The crash was reported on the 6800 block of New Falls Road around the Acme Market.

There were initial reports of a crash with one person entrapped. Arriving units found all occupants were out of their vehicles.

Fire crews remained on the scene for a short time to assist the police department with traffic. There were non-life-threatening injuries to those involved.
