House Fire Under Investigation In Middletown Twp.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —The cause of a fire Friday in Cobalt Ridge is under investigation by the township's fire marshal.

The William Penn Fire Company responded just before 6 p.m. Friday for a reported dwelling fire in Cobalt Ridge.

Fire officials said that Engine 77 arrived first on scene and quickly stretched a hose line to the exterior of the house to begin suppression operations. Engine 244 arrived soon after, and their crew stretched an additional line to the second floor.

Fire crews from numerous fire departments worked together to extinguish the fire, officials said.
