Jogger Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In Bristol Twp.
Bristol Township Police said the man was trying to cross Bristol Pike on Friday afternoon.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —A jogger was injured after being struck by a vehicle along Bristol Pike Friday afternoon, police said.
The Bristol Township Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian in the area of Bristol Pike and Newportville Road in Croydon around 4:26 p.m. on Friday.
Police said a 38-year-old man was running southbound on Newportville Road attempting to cross Bristol Pike when he was struck.

He was taken by the Bucks County Rescue Squad to Frankford Torresdale Hospital.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed that a black 2008 Toyota Solara was traveling east on southbound Bristol Pike approaching the intersection with Newportville Road. The Solara made contact with the pedestrian in the eastbound land of Bristol Pike.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Bucks County Rescue Squad, Croydon Fire Company and
Bristol Township Fire Police.
