Langhorne Porch Fest Returns Saturday

LANGHORNE, PA —Six borough porches will be the stages for a dozen bands as Langhorne Porch Fest returns on Saturday.

The Langhorne Council for the Arts will host Langhorne Porch Fest on Saturday, Sept 9, from Noon to 5 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 10.

Six porches will feature bands playing everything from Roaring Twenties Jazz to classic rock, acoustic folk, blues, and other types of music.

A new feature this year is the “Rising Stars” stage at the Richardson House (corner of Maple and Bellevue Avenues), where youthful singers and dancers will perform.

The event is family-friendly and free, but attendees are reminded that the musicians appreciate tips, organizers said.

Food will be available for purchase at the American Legion Post, Langhorne Coffee House, Langhorne Hotel, and the Goodnoe’s Ice Cream Truck.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and wear your walking (and dancing) shoes.
