Large Rubbish Fire Reported In Falls Township
Fire crews contained a fire on South Steel Road in Falls Township on Friday morning.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Fire crews responded to a large rubbish fire on Friday morning.
The Levittown Fire Company No. 1 and Falls Township Fire Company extinguished the fire reported on South Steel Road at 8:05 a.m. on Friday.
Station 30 was dispatched for a scrap fire at Sims Metal Management. Chief 30 arrived and found a pile of scrap vehicles well involved.

Ladder 30, Engine 98 from Morrisville Fire Company and Squirt 13 from Levittown Fire Company No. 2 arrived shortly after.
The fire was placed under control a short time later.
