Levittown Drug Dealer, 'Disgusted' With Himself, Gets Jail Time
A man who sold cocaine and methamphetamine throughout the Levittown area has been sentenced to serve four to 10 years in state prison.

A man who sold cocaine and methamphetamine throughout the Levittown area has been sentenced to serve four to 10 years in state prison, authorities announced. Fred Joseph Niedrist, 37, of Levittown, pleaded guilty this week to delivery of methamphetamine and no contest to possession with intent to deliver cocaine, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
Niedrist was arrested early last year after a drug trafficking investigation by the Bucks County Detectives and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
“I’m disgusted with myself for the way things have been going with me,” Niedrist told Judge Rea B. Boylan, according to a news release from the Bucks County District Attorney's office. “I’m embarrassed for my family, for them having to be here. I just want to make them feel proud of me again.”

The pleas and sentence, which also called for continuing mental health and drug and alcohol treatment, were the result of a negotiated agreement between Deputy District Attorney Thomas C. Gannon and defense attorney Richard R. Fink, authorities said.
Boylan recommended that Niedrist, who has a long history of drug abuse and mental illness, be sent to the State Correctional Institution at Waymart, because it is best-equipped to treat those issues, a statement from the Bucks County District Attorney's office said.
