Levittown Man Killed Aunt at Pennsbury Woods Apartment: Police

A Levittown man is facing homicide charges after authorities say he killed his aunt at her Pennsbury Woods Apartment.
Jeffrey Stafford, 39, was arrested Thursday and charged with criminal homicide in the death of his aunt, Alisa Wilson, who lived in the Pennsbury Woods Apartment Complex, FOX29 reported.
According to court records, Stafford is also charged with robbery, burglary, possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing, receiving stolen property and other related charges.

FOX29 reports that Stafford told a friend that he may have given Wilson too many sleeping pills. The friend then notified police, LevittownNow.com reported. He was later found driving her car and in possession of her money and jewelry, reports say.
Police responded to the apartment late Wednesday and discovered the victim, who had been dead for ”some time,” the website reported.

Stafford was in possession of two of the victim’s purses that had jewelry and money inside, FOX29 said. He also reportedly had 14 packages that had suspected narcotics inside.
He was arraigned Thursday and sent to Bucks County jail. He was denied bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 20, court records show.
