Police Seek Owner Of Dogs Who Attacked Levittown Man

Bristol Township Police are investigating an incident on Ruby Lane in which a man was injured by dogs while walking his own pets.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA. —The Bristol Township Police Department is investigating an incident in which a man was attacked by two dogs while he was walking his own pets.

Lt. Sean Cosgrove told Patch Wednesday that the incident Monday on Ruby Lane is under investigation. Police would not provide any further details.

Action News 6 reported that police are seeking the owner of two dogs.

Joseph Monaghan told Action News he was walking his two dogs around 2:30 p.m. Monday when one dog approached.

"He started coming after us, and he started lunging for me and the little dog and then started attacking my golden retriever," Monaghan told Action News. Watch the video of the report.

Monaghan told the network that he was hospitalized for serious bite wounds to his hand. He said his dogs were treated for puncture wounds.
