Levittown Man Attempted To Assault Target Loss Prevention Officer: Police

Police in Bensalem are seeking two people who are accused of shoplifting from the local Target then attempting to assault the loss prevention officer who tried to stop them.

Bensalem Police say the incident happened Friday, March 24. A male and a female, since identified as Angelo Lomonaco Jr., 33, and Christina Lomonaco, 38, loaded a shopping cart with merchandise and left the store without paying, police said.

When the loss prevention officer attempted to stop them, Lomonaco Jr. became "aggressive" and attempted to assault him, police said. The pair, whose last known address was in Levittown, fled the scene in a red minivan prior to police arrival.

Police were able to identify the suspects after an investigation.
