Levittown Man Charged With Fondling Sleeping TCNJ Students: Report

A Levittown man has been charged after authorities say he touched women while they were sleeping in dorms at The College of New Jersey, according to a report by NJ.com.

Jon Cannon, 25, was arrested Dec. 31 for three incidents involving criminal sexual contact, the report said. Cannon had previously been charged in similar incidents at Rider University, NJ.com reports.

Charging papers obtained by NJ.com allege Cannon entered the dorm and touched a female student on Dec. 22. He also a suspect in similar incidents on Sept. 10 and Oct. 21.

College officials, in a statement obtained by NJ.com, thanked law enforcement for their work on the case. "They were meticulous in their review of evidence and worked closely with the county prosecutor's office and local law enforcement agencies to bring the charges that led to his arrest," a college spokesperson said in the statement.
