Levittown Man Charged With Rape Of Girl, Court Records State

Gerald Lee Roberts, 62, faces sexual assault and rape charges of the girl when she was between the ages of 9 and 12, authorities said.

LEVITTOWN, PA —A 62-year-old Levittown man has been charged with raping and sexually assaulting a girl when she was between the ages of 9 and 12 years old, court records state.

Gerald Lee Roberts, 62, who lives in Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was preliminarily arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Kevin Wagner on charges of the rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, and indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old age.

Bristol Township Police Detective Alexander Asmann said that he was involved in forensic interviews with the 13-year-old girl at the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center.

During the interviews, the girl told police that she was in the care and custody of Roberts.

The alleged assaults are believed to have taken place at Roberts' residence and his place of employment, court records obtained by Patch state.

Roberts' bail at the preliminary arraignment was set at 10 percent of $1 million. He was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
