Lower Bucks Family YMCA Announces Bristol Township Camp Location
Lower Bucks Family YMCA is pleased to announce their newest camp location at Mill Creek Elementary School for youth age 4 through 15.

Get ready for your best summer ever in Bristol Township! Lower Bucks Family YMCA is pleased to announce their newest camp location at Mill Creek Elementary School, 6501 Mill Creek Road, Levittown. The summer camp program, held within the Bristol Township School District, will provide programs for youth age 4 through 15, and will run June 19 through August 25.
The program will provide traditional adventure camp, sports camps, teen camps and counselor-in-training programs with flexible weekly, full-day, half-day and extended care schedules. A dedicated preschool camp will be provided to prekindergarten age youth and run with higher ratios and age-appropriate schedules. Staff and campers will have access to the school’s gymnasium, classrooms and cafeteria space, outdoor sports fields and basketball courts and playground.
The camp will also include teen leadership programs for youth seeking a traditional camp experience, teen trip opportunities or a counselor-in-training program. Friday field trips to the Y’s nearby Holland Outdoor Center will provide opportunities for swimming and indoor and outdoor sports, including basketball, soccer and floor hockey.

“We’re thrilled to be able to serve more youth and families in the Bristol area,” said Trish Feinthel, chief operating officer at Lower Bucks Family YMCA. “Supporting preschoolers up through teens in one location is a great convenience for our camp families.”
YMCA camp programs at both Central and Lower Bucks Family YMCAs are under the same management, which allows consistency of programming and sharing of resources. Between both organizations, they will provide summer camp programming in Fairless Hills, Doylestown, Holland, Chalfont, Newtown, Morrisville and Warminster. Financial assistance is available for all camps.

Camp staff are thoroughly vetted and receive extensive training that includes CPR and first aid, water and play safety, and child behavior management.
Registration for the camp program in Bristol begins on March 20 and the first 50 registrants will receive a free summer youth membership to the Lower Bucks Family YMCA.
