Man Charged With Prowling At Night After Bristol Car Break-Ins: Police

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Police in Bristol Borough have arrested a 22-year-old man they say was found to be stealing from cars parked on West Circle late Saturday night.

According to police, on Sept. 30 30th at about 10 p.m., Bristol Borough Police received a report of a man attempting to enter a car on West Circle. The person who reported the incident provided police with an image of the subject caught on a surveillance camera.

As police were checking the area for a suspect, they located someone that fit his description on Farragut Avenue. As a result, Edward R. Martin, 22, no fixed address, was taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of other property taken from other vehicles.

Martin was charged with prowling at night time, theft and possession of stolen property. Martin was arraigned and lodged in Bucks County Prison, in lieu of $75,000 bail.
