Man Hit Roommate Over Head For No Apparent Reason: Penndel Cops

Police in Penndel say they arrested a man last month for hitting his roommate in the head "multiple times" for "apparently no reason."

Authorities charged David Shellenberger, 36, with assault and harassment after the June 17 altercation at an apartment on W. Lincoln Highway.

The victim, who had a cut over his eye and was bleeding, told arriving officers his roommate had struck him multiple times in the head for apparently no reason.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 11, court records show.
