Man Killed While Walking Along Levittown Highway

A 66-year-old man who was walking along a Levittown highway was killed Wednesday, according to reports.

Police tell the Associated Press the unidentified man was struck while walking along Veteran's Highway after attempting to cross the road. He was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by a van, the report said.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
