Man Preyed On Middletown Girl Who Was Raped By Own Father: DA
"You, sir, are a monster," the judge told the man before sentencing him to as much as 20 years in prison.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl from Middletown Township who had been raped repeatedly by her father as a young child was sentenced Monday to serve seven and a half to 20 years in state prison.
Authorities say Dennis Frye, 51, of Yardley was aware of the girl's traumatic past when he offered to help her mother watch the child. But instead of helping, Frye molested and solicited sex from the girl, whose father is serving more than 20 years in prison for raping her over a period of several years, information from the Bucks County District Attorney's office said.
“You, sir, are a monster,” Bucks County Common Pleas Court Judge Raymond F. McHugh told Frye during sentencing.

The victim’s father, convicted of sexually assaulting her for years starting when she was 6, is serving a 21½- to 47-year sentence in state prison for those crimes.
Knowing that past, Frye molested the victim, now 15, despite knowing that she was suicidal and was cutting her arms and legs to cope with her emotions, authorities said.

According to court records, Frye bought the girl a cell phone and used it to send her sexually explicit messages. He told her he loved her and wanted to marry her, repeatedly fondled, groped and asked her for sex, authorities said.
The victim has tried to commit suicide three times since the assaults, authorities said.
Frye pleaded guilty to statutory sexual assault for soliciting sex from the girl, as well as unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility, and indecent assault on a victim less than 16 years of age.
In addition to the prison time, McHugh ordered Frye to undergo sex offender treatment in prison and to have no contact with the victim, or any unsupervised contact with anyone under 18, after his release.
The case was investigated by the Middletown Township Police Department.
