Man Swerves Truck, Ejects Wife, Then Runs Her Over With Trailer In Falls Township: Cops
A drunk man swerved his pick-up truck, ejecting his wife and critically injuring her as they were arguing, Falls Township police said.

A Warminster man who was drunk swerved his pick-up truck, ejecting his wife out of the passenger side of the car and critically injuring her Monday in Falls Township, according to authorities. Police said Andrew Ryan then ran over his wife with a trailer attached to the pickup truck while she laid injured on Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m.
Witnesses reported seeing a woman fall out of the truck, which was going at a high rate of speed, then get run over by the trailer, NBC10 reported.

The driver, later identified as 31-year-old Andrew Ryan, was located a mile away by Pennsylvania State Police. He admitted to the crash and said it was his wife who was in the car with him, NBC10 said.
Police said the man and his wife stopped at a local bar, where he said he had four beers and two shots of tequila within an hour. The couple began arguing, to the point where it escalated. He reportedly pulled over to let his wife, Robin Ryan, out of the car. She got out, but then returned to the car without shutting the door tightly just before he swerved, Philly.com reported.

Robin Ryan suffered a broken leg and serious head injuries, Philly.com said.
According to court records, Andrew Ryan faces charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and DUI. He was sent to Bucks County Prison after being unable to post bail, which was set at 10 percent of $200,000 bail.
