Man Tried To Lure Child As She Got Off Bus In Bristol Twp: Cops

'Get in the car,' the man said to the 10-year-old girl as she got off her bus in Bristol Township Thursday, police said.

A man attempted to lure a child as she got off her bus Thursday afternoon in Bristol Township, police said.

According to police, the incident happened on Glenrose Avenue near Malinda Drive. A 10-year-old girl said she had just gotten off her school bus and was walking home when a silver car pulled up and followed her.

The child began to run, and the vehicle continued toward her. According to information from police, the driver, a man in his mid 20s who was described as being Indian, said “get in the car.”

He then winked as he took off his sunglasses, police said.

According to a description provided by police, he had a tattoo on his left bicep, straight light brown hair and was wearing a red shirt with “Pride” written on it.

Police believe he was driving a silver four-door sedan, possibly a Honda Civic. Police are asking anyone who lives in the neighborhood that has street-facing video cameras to view the footage from Nov. 2 between 3 and 4:15 p.m.
