FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —When a Bucks County jury delivered a guilty verdict in a drug trial on Wednesday, there was one problem: the suspect wasn't in court to hear it, authorities said.

Santeeno Deon Grant, 35, of Falls Township, appeared for the first two days of the jury trial before Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr. But when he was convicted Wednesday of several drug-dealing charges involving cocaine and fentanyl, Grant was a no-show.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office now seeks Grant's whereabouts after declaring him a fugitive of justice and revoking his bail.

Grant was found guilty of three counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

During its investigation last year, authorities found in Grant's apartment a digital scale, parchment paper containing a tan-colored, rock-like substance in the kitchen freezer, numerous new and unused clear bags, and new and unused wax bags.

Detectives found a digital scale in the vehicle's center console, a blue Apple iPhone on the front passenger seat, and 10 white bags containing suspected heroin/fentanyl under the front driver's seat.

The items were analyzed and a final lab report found that the tan-colored substance in the freezer weighed 34.28 grams and tested positive for several controlled substances, including acetyl fentanyl, fentanyl, and heroin.

The 10 white bags in the vehicle weighed 0.18 grams and tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, authorities said.
