Middletown Police Arrest Teen On Heroin-Dealing Charges

During a months-long investigation, the 18-year-old from Trenton sold more than 200 heroin doses to undercover officers, police say.

MIDDLETOWN, PA — Police in Middletown have arrested an 18-year-old from Trenton on charges that he was dealing heroin in Lower Bucks County.

After a months-long, joint investigation with police in Mercer County, N.J., police arrested Daniel L. Allen, 18, of Trenton, on Valentine's Day. He was charged with four counts of distribution of a controlled substance and other offenses.

According to a police affidavit, Allen was arrested at Trenton Road Takeout, in Falls Township, where he had arranged to sell heroin to an undercover officer. He had a "brick" of heroin, amounting to 50 doses, at the time, police say.

Police say Allen sold more than 200 doses of heroin to undercover police officers during the course of the investigation. Moments after his arrest in Lower Bucks, the Mercer County Prosecutors Office Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his home in Trenton.

There, officers found more than 33 bricks of heroin, which amounts to more than 1,700 more doses of heroin, police said.

Allen was arraigned and taken to Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post 10% of $800,000 bail.
