Middletown Police K9s Investigate Lowe's Bomb Threat
Middletown Township K9s were brought in to help after a bomb threat closed the Lowe's in Warrington.

A bomb threat that evacuated the Lowe's store in Warrington Monday morning is under investigation by police. K9s from Middletown Township were brought to the scene to aid in the investigation after employees found notes in a men's bathroom stall early that said a bomb would go off somewhere in the store, according to information from Warrington police.
The employees notified police after seeing the notes and the store was immediately evacuated, authorities said.
Middletown Township Police Department K9s spent "many hours" checking the store, which was deemed safe around 9:45 a.m. after no bombs were located, police said.

Meanwhile Warrington Police praised the dogs and thanked Middletown Township police for their assistance.
"The canines did a great job clearing such a large store. They were given many breaks throughout the morning," information from police said.
