Mural Unveiled As Anchor Of New Bristol Park

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA —It will now stand the test of time.

Last week, the borough unveiled its new park at the corner of Market Street and Wood Street.

The community group Raising the Bar commemorated "a significant milestone in Bristol Borough’s history" with the dedication of "Riverport Plaza @ Market."

At the heart of last Wednesday's celebration was the unveiling of a 1,300-square-foot mural by artist Jared Bader that portrays the rich maritime history on Market Street through its once-bustling port once connected the street to ports across the East Coast, Visit Bristol Borough said.

"This captivating mural not only pays homage to Bristol Borough's rich heritage but also stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the community," Visit Bristol Borough said.

The completion of the park is thanks to the collaborative efforts of talented artists, historians, and community members who dedicated their skills and passion to creating the space for the town to enjoy.

"Riverport @ Market is Bristol Borough’s latest step in its era of resurgence," Visit Bristol Borough said.
