Gov. Tom Wolf To Speak At NAACP Event In Bensalem On Oct. 21
This year's theme is 'NAACP: Steadfast and Immovable'

BENSALEM, PA -- Governor Tom Wolf will be the keynote speaker at the NAACP Bucks County 66th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event, which kicks off a scholarship fund to support young people seeking higher educational opportunities, will take place at Parx East, 3001 E. Street Road, Bensalem.
The theme of the banquet is: “NAACP: Steadfast and Immovable.”
This year’s award recipients are: Joyce Hadley, Bucks County Human Relations Council – Community Service Award; Dr. Umar Farooq, Knights Medical Associates – Community Service Award; Thomas Tosti, director, AFSCME District Council 88 – Community Service Award; Esteban Vera, Jr., business manager, Laborers (LIUNA) Local Union #57 – Pioneer Award; Mother Katherine Drexel, Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament – Pioneer Award.
