DOYLESTOWN, PA — A student at Neshaminy High School on Monday got an up-close look at how real-world law and order works.

Student Anastasiya Datsenko spent her Monday at the Bucks County Justice Center, shadowing members of the Bucks County District Attorney's office trail team. She also got a little time to sit down and chat with District Attorney Matthew Weintraub.

According to the DA's office, Anastasiya became interested in the work the office does after hearing Weintraub speak at the Falls Township youth Police Academy in August.

"Thank you Anastasiya for your interest in our work, and best of luck in your future endeavors," Weintraub said in a social media post.

The Youth Police Academy, which this year was in July and August, is open to students in grades 9-12 who are interested in careers in law enforcement. The 10-day, academy style training program is designed to expose students to many different areas of law enforcement.
