Neshaminy Reports Death Of High School Student
Neshaminy Schools Superintendent Jason Bowman sent out a letter to families notifying them of the death.
LANGHORNE, PA —The Neshaminy School District is reporting the death of one of its high school students.
Schools Superintendent Jason Bowman informed district families in an email Monday of the death of a student. He did not provide any details about the death or the name of the student.
Chris Stanley, the district's communications director, told Patch Tuesday that he had no further information to share beyond the superintendent's letter.

Bowman's letter stated:
"It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the death of a Neshaminy High School student," the superintendent said. "A sudden loss like this can be deeply distressing and upsetting for a child. For that reason, we hope that you will listen to your child and discuss their feelings and reactions to this tragedy with them. Sudden death is always painful to understand, and your child may experience signs of stress."
Bowman said that counselors from Neshaminy High School would be available over the next few days to provide support or grief counseling and that other resources were available as well.
