Neshaminy, Staff Union Go To Fact-Finding: Report
The two sides have been negotiating a new contract since January 2018.
LANGHORNE, PA — Unable to work out a deal on their own, the Neshaminy School District and the union for its support staff have agreed to enter a fact-finding process in order to work out a new contract.
The Intelligencer reports that the 523-member Neshaminy Education Support Professional Association has been working under a contract that expired on June 30, 2018. The union includes teacher's aides, non-instructional aides, secretaries, custodians, maintenance workers, bus drivers and other district employees.
Negotiations on a new contract started in January 2018, the Intelligencer reports. A union representative told the paper she hopes adding a third party to the talks will help provide a breakthrough.

The two sides differ on wages, paid time off and guaranteed number of work days, according to the union.
According to the paper, a joint fact-finding request will be presented to the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board at its July 16 meeting, when a fact finder will be assigned.
