"Welcome back to the new school year at Neshaminy," Substitute Superintendent Jason Bowman said. "This is one of my favorite times of the year as our buildings come back to life, we reconnect with our staff and returning students, and I get to see the excitement on the faces of our newest students as they begin their educational journey at Neshaminy in kindergarten."

Bowman said the district is committed to ensuring a safe, healthy learning environment and "are constantly evaluating our programs, resources, and facilities to better meet these goals."

He thanked administrative, curriculum, technology, and facilities staff working over the summer to get things ready for the first days of school.

"I look forward to the buzz of excitement in our hallways and classrooms, the sights and sounds of fall sports, and the promise of a fresh start as we begin what I believe will be a stellar school year," Bowman said.

School Bus App

The free Here Comes the Bus app is available for the entire district. You can track your student's bus using up-to-the-minute GPS data using the app, which is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It can also be accessed on the website by clicking here. Neshaminy's school code is 29378. For the start of the 2023-2024 school year, individual student tracking will not be implemented, and students will not have to swipe cards to board buses. That feature may be added at a later date.

Free Breakfast

Neshaminy's popular free breakfast program will continue into the 2023-2024 school year. All Neshaminy students will have access to a free "grab-and-go" breakfast every school day.

For families eligible for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program, there is more good news: lunch for those students eligible for the "Reduced" price lunch program will be free of charge this year as well as for those students eligible for the "Free" lunch program.

As in past years, families must apply for the program EVERY school year. Applications can be completed online through the School Cafe app and website, or paper applications can be found at the Neshaminy Food Services website Food Services / Free & Reduced Meal Program (neshaminy.org) along with income guidelines and other important information.

Back-to-School Nights

Back-to-School Nights are slated for Thursday, Sept. 21, at the district's elementary schools, Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Neshaminy High School; and Thursday, Sept. 28, at the middle school.
