New Police Officer Joins Middetown Township Force

LANGHORNE, PA —The Middletown Township Police Department has added a new member to the police force.

Police Officer Kaylee Plisinski was sworn in Tuesday morning by Judge Dan Baranoski.

Plisinski joins the department after serving the past four years with the Hatfield Police Department.

"We are excited to have Kaylee join our police department and she is looking forward to a great career with MTPD," the department posted on its Facebook page.

In other recent police department news:

• On Wednesday, the department's honor guard presented the colors at the EDITS emergency management conference in Montgomery County.
• Kassidy Groves was promoted from Acting Detective to Detective on Sept. 27 in a small ceremony in front of her family and fellow police department colleagues. She had been doing the job since June.
• Sept. 29 marked the 17th anniversary of the passing of Officer Brian Gregg. Gregg and two others were shot while dealing with a DUI suspect at St. Mary's Hospital. "All of Officer Gregg's family members, friends and brothers and sisters in blue are in our thoughts and prayers. Your service to the community will never be forgotten."
