Open House Slated For Levittown Trail Plan
The Bucks County Planning Commission will hold an open house on May 21 on the Levittown Trail Project that will go through several towns.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A new trail is coming to Lower Bucks County that will be more than a mile long and tail through several towns.
The Bucks County Planning Commission will hold an open house from 6-8 p.m. on May 21 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 89 Pinewood Dr., Levittown, to give residents the chance to provide feedback on the Levittown Trail Project.
Staff will be available to provide details on the project, as well as address resident questions and concerns regarding the development of the trail.

The county intends to develop a 10' wide multi-use asphalt trail, about 1.13 miles in length, along portions of Levittown Parkway, Mill Creek Parkway and Lakeside Drive in Tullytown Borough, Bristol Township, and Falls Township.
The project is comprised of 5 segments:

- Segment 1: Mill Creek Parkway: Levittown Parkway to Port Lane (0.47 miles) —This segment will be a new 10’ wide asphalt sidepath trail located in the right-of-way along the southeast side of Mill Creek Parkway between Levittown Parkway and Port Lane.
- Segment 2: Levittown Parkway: Mill Creek Parkway to Penn Lane (0.07 miles) —This segment of the trail, approximately 0.07 miles, will be located in the right-of-way along the northeast side of Levittown Parkway between Mill Creek Parkway and Penn Lane where it will connect to the existing trail along Levittown Parkway.
- Segment 3: Levittown Parkway: Falls Township/Tullytown Borough boundary to Levittown Town Center (0.23 miles) —This segment will replace the existing sidewalk along the northeast side of Levittown Parkway from the Falls Township/Tullytown Borough boundary line to the signalized entrance of Levittown Town Center at Levittown Center, with a new 10’ wide asphalt sidepath trail.
- Segment 4: Lakeside Drive: Levittown Parkway to Levittown Lake parking lot (0.12 miles) —This final segment of the trail, approximately 0.12 miles in length, will be located in the right-of-way along the southeast side of Lakeside Drive between Levittown Parkway and the existing parking lot at Levittown Lake.
- Segment 5: Levittown Parkway: Levittown Town Center to Delaware Canal Towpath (0.24 miles) —After the Levittown Town Center intersection, this segment will extend the trail 0.24 miles in length to connect to the Delaware Canal Towpath.
In addition to these four segments of trail, there are three additional components to the project:
- Upgraded ADA ramps at the intersection of Levittown Parkway and Pinewood Drive
- A road crossing of Levittown Parkway at its intersection with Sexton Lane
- A road crossing of Mill Creek Parkway at its intersection with Willow Drive
