NJ Homicide Suspect Captured In Falls Township

Falls Township Police said a Trenton, N.J., man was pulled over at a gas station on Lincoln Highway on Tuesday morning.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —A Trenton, N.J., man is in custody wanted for a 2025 homicide after being captured in the township on Tuesday morning, police said.

Falls Township Police said that Terrance Travers, 47, was arrested without incident at a gas station on Lincoln Highway after an automated license plate reader alerted authorities to his vehicle.

A Falls Township police officer spotted the Jeep Grand Cherokee and arrested Travers after he exited the convenience store, according to a criminal complaint.

Travers faces charges of first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, receiving stolen property, and multiple weapons offenses, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The charges stem from a nighttime shooting on Aug. 29 in Trenton.

He is being held in Bucks County Prison pending extradition to New Jersey.
