1 Shot By Police, 1 Arrested In Langhorne 7-Eleven Robbery
The officer was part of a Bucks County task force investigating a string of recent robberies at the convenience store.
LANGHORNE, PA — One robbery suspect was shot by a police officer and another arrested Thursday night in Langhorne by a task force investigating a recent string of robberies at a 7-Eleven store.
Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney's office are investigating the shooting, which happened late Thursday at the convenience store in the 200 block of North Pine Street.
The DA's office did not say which police force the involved officer is a member of Friday morning, but said he was assigned to a federal task force and intervened in a suspected robbery in progress. The store has been robbed three times over the past couple of weeks, authorities sad.

The suspect who was shot was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to DA's office spokesman James O'Malley.
A second man left the scene of the shooting and was later arrested. John Sugalski, 66, of Langhorne Manor is charged with robbery, conspiracy and other counts. He was arraigned Friday and the judge set bail at 10% of $950,000.

O'Malley said federal authorities are assisting in the investigation of the shooting because of their involvement with the investigation. Bucks County District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub will determine there are any charges to be filed in relation to the shooting.
