Oxford Valley Golf Course Closed From Fire
The clubhouse of the county-owned Oxford Valley Golf Course in Falls Township was damaged by an electrical fire Tuesday, officials said.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —The Oxford Valley Golf Course was closed Wednesday after a suspected electrical fire damaged its clubhouse the day before, Bucks County officials said.
Employees inside the clubhouse of the county-owned golf course called 911 after they smelled and saw smoke outside the building, James O’Malley, spokesman for Bucks County's government, said in a press release.
Fire crews were dispatched to the call at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, and brought the fire under control at 3:51 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
The Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office believes the fire was the result of an electrical malfunction, as it appears to have started where wires for telephone and cable service enter the building.

The fire primarily damaged the roof and exterior of the clubhouse and caused smoke damage throughout the building. General Services will assess and address the needed repairs.
