PBU Announces First Executive-In-Residence
PBU declares new appointment for spring 2012 semester.

Philadelphia Biblical University’s School of Business and Leadership is pleased to announce that Mr. William M. Langford, CPA, has been appointed as Executive-In-Residence for the spring 2012 semester. The Executive-In-Residence program provides an opportunity for distinguished Christian business leaders to contribute to Philadelphia Biblical University by sharing their practical knowledge and insights on economic, business, and international issues and trends. They accomplish this by teaching classes and joining in discussions with students and faculty.
Mr. Langford joined the university after working 30 years for Unisys and Campbell Soup Company.

His career at Campbell Soup in the World Headquarters included assignments in Corporate Development, Brand Management, Accounting, and Auditing. His work on US businesses included two years in San Antonio, Texas at the newly acquired Pace Salsa brand. He spent much of his last 10 years at Campbell’s in the International Division as a Finance Director, which included relocations to Malaysia and Puerto Rico.
Bill received a BS in Business from Wake Forest University and a Master’s in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He holds a current CPA license in the state of Pennsylvania, and served on the board of Alpha Pregnancy Services as Treasurer for eight years.

Bill and his wife Debbie have two sons who are pursuing college and graduate degrees. They reside in Media, Pennsylvania, and attend Tenth Presbyterian Church where Bill is an Elder. Future plans include relocating to Asia in July where both Bill and Debbie will be teaching Enlgish at a university.
