PBU Commencement Ceremony Takes Place Saturday
Nearly 150 students are expected to participate in the ceremony.
Nearly 150 students will walk in Philadelphia Biblical University's commencement ceremony on Saturday.
The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. in the Mason Activity Center gymnasium located on PBU’s campus, 200 Manor Avenue in Langhorne.
Dr. Martha MacCullough, who has served the Philadelphia Biblical University community since 1980, will be the featured speaker. In the past 32 years, she has become a pillar of the institution, providing wisdom and leadership to both her students and colleagues. In 2008, she was granted the rank of Distinguished Professor, a recognition she carried with her when she joined the Center for University Studies in 2010. In addition to teaching, Dr. MacCullough is a respected author and speaker. She has written numerous articles and is the author of the monograph, "Developing a Worldview Approach to Biblical Integration" which has been translated into five different languages and is used by educators worldwide.
A teacher-scholar, Dr. MacCullough earned her Ed.D. from Temple University and her M.A. from Wheaton College Graduate School; however, her post-secondary education began at PBU as she received her B.S. in Bible degree in 1962. Before returning to PBU in 1980, she worked at Lancaster Bible College where she developed a teacher preparation program for the institution.
