Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Struck In Falls Twp.

Falls Township Police said the 19-year-old was crossing West Trenton Avenue Tuesday night when he was hit by a car driven by a township man.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —A 19-year-old township resident has been injured after being struck by a vehicle while walking across West Trenton Avenue Tuesday night, police said.

The Falls Township Police Department was dispatched to the 900 block of West Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a traffic accident involving a struck pedestrian.

Police said a preliminary investigation has determined that a 34-year-old township man driving a Toyota sedan, struck a 19-year-old township man who was walking across the road.

The struck pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was transported to Capital Health, N.J., by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, police said.

The motorist is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in the accident.
