Penndel Police Make Child Pornography Arrest

Penndel Borough Police, in conjunction with Newtown Township Police, have filed child pornography charges against a 47-year-old Morrisville man.

Robert Schwabe was charged Thursday with sexual abuse of children (possession of child pornography) and criminal use of a communication facility.

According to police, a forensic examination of Schwabe's laptop computer verified the presence of web-based child pornography and child erotica. He was arraigned and sent to the Bucks County Prison in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Schwabe's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 24, court records show.
