Penndel Police Respond To Heroin Overdose

The victim's mother returned home to find him on a sofa with a large amount of blood on the floor, police said.

PENNDEL, PA — Police in Penndel responded on Saturday to what they were calling a potentially deadly heroin overdose.

Officers were called to Hulmeville Borough to assist. When they arrived, the victim's mother told them she'd come home to find her son on a couch with a large amount of blood on the floor.

She told officers that her son is a known heroin user.

Police assisted ES until the victim was taken to the hospital. He was listed in critical condition and "it was reported that the patient may not survive this incident," police said.
