Pennsbury High Marching Band Prepares For Thanksgiving Parade
The band will make its 39th appearance Thursday in the 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia.

FALLSINGTON, PA —Many of us prepare for Thanksgiving by buying a turkey and all the trimmings for our holiday feast. The Long Orange Line prepares for a performance.
The Pennsbury High School Marching Band —fresh off a Nov. 5 competition in Allentown in the US Bands National 4A Championships —is getting ready for Philadelphia's 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday.
It will be the band's 39th appearance in the parade.

"Wow! Now that's dedication! Way to go Pennsbury High School Marching Band for celebrating the holidays with us for 39 years," parade organizers said. "Can't wait to see them in this year's parade."
The band marked its first time competing in the US Bands Competition Circuit. They performed their best show of the year, earning a 92.3 and a 4th place finish overall and the top band in Pennsylvania, school officials said.

They competed with bands from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Maryland.
The parade is just one of the many performances that have the marching band performing around the nation and the globe.
School officials said the marching band has performed on five continents, countless parades, and almost all of the Disney Parks.
The parade kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
