Pennsbury High School Grad Passes Away At 25

Richard M. Reese Jr. of Levittown passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at the young age of 25 due to a long struggle with drug addiction.

Richie attended John Fitch Elementary School, Neil Armstrong Middle School, and was a 2009 graduate of Pennsbury High School. Richie had many friends and family who loved him. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his laugh.

Through Richie's battles, we were lucky enough to have 'our son' back over the holidays and it was a true blessing. He was the beloved son of Richard M. Reese Sr. and Susan L. Reese.

Richie was the loving brother of Ryan M., Nicholas R., and Ashley L. Reese and James Richardson. Richie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur L. and Helen C. Reese, and maternal grandparents, Frederick C. and Linda E. Heifet. He also will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.

Interment will be held privately.
