Pennsbury Manor To Host Free Halloween Celebration

The 8th Annual Tricks and Treats at the Manor will be held Oct. 30 at Pennsbury Manor, the former estate of Pennsylvania’s founder William Penn.

The free event, a celebration of Halloween fun mixed with Pennsylvania history, will be held from 1-4 p.m. and typically attracts more than 700 people, according to organizers.

This year's event will include:

• A scarecrow hunt
• A witch trial reenactment
• 17th century craft demonstrations
• Trick-or-treating
• Games
• Corn maze
• Hayrides

Due to the growing number of food allergies, Pennsbury Manor will be participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project during this year’s Tricks and Treats program, by offering non-food treats in addition to candy.

Pennsbury Manor is located at 400 Pennsbury Memorial Rd, Morrisville.
