Pennsbury Ranked 95th Among PA Public High Schools: Report

Rankings released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report had Pennsbury High School at No. 95 among 750 high schools in Pennsylvania.

FALLSINGTON, PA —Pennsbury High School has received a ranking of 95th among 750 Pennsylvania high schools in findings released Tuesday by U.S. News and World Report.

Hundreds of public high schools in Pennsylvania were ranked among the 2023-24 Best High Schools, according to the report.

The high school was ranked 54th among high schools in the Philadelphia metro area and 2,513 nationally.

The high school received an overall scorecard of 85.79 out of 100.

The scorecard had 31 percent of township high school students taking at least one Advanced Placement exam with 26 percent passing. Meanwhile, students have 76 percent mathematics proficiency, 86 percent of reading proficiency, 81 percent of science proficiency, and a graduation rate of 93 percent.

The report provided numerous statistics about the high school:

Pennsbury High School has an enrollment of 2,907 students and a student-teacher ratio of 13:1.

The total minority enrollment is 27 percent, and 23 percent of students are economically disadvantaged.

Families can use the annual rankings to compare schools at the national, state, and local levels on factors such as academic performance, graduation rates, and college readiness, according to a news release. U.S. News reviewed 25,000 schools and ranked 17,680 of them.

In total, 750 Pennsylvania high schools were on the U.S. News list.
