Pennsbury Reads At Barnes & Noble

Pennsbury elementary students hit the books at Barnes & Noble Oxford Valley.

Guest readers including principals, teachers and reading specialists participated in Wednesday’s two-hour event. Pennsbury Reading and Language Arts Coordinator Mary Ellen Lane organized the event.

The activity, in conjunction with a "Pennsbury Reads" initiative, challenges elementary students to read for 500 minutes this summer.

A second event is planned for the evening of August 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
