A graduate of West Chester University as well as Temple School of Law, Prokopiak was first elected to the Pennsbury School Board in 2021, where he has been a strong advocate of public education while also being the voice for taxpayers.
Prokopiak voted against both the 2022 and 2023 tax increases. Previously, Prokopiak served as a Falls Township Supervisor from 2002 to 2009, where, together with Jonathan Snipes and Bob Harvie, helped change the direction of Falls Township.

He increased recreational activities in the Township, including opening Phase 2 of the Falls Community Park, advocated for additional pedestrian trials, and pushed for the construction of the boat ramp.
He advocated for innovative township programs, including the LED Streetlight pilot program, which, when fully implemented, led to hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings to the taxpayers.
In his eight years on the Board of Supervisors, Prokopiak said he never raised property taxes.
Prokopiak currently serves on the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority, where he has focused on redevelopment in Lower Bucks County. Prokopiak also has served as a volunteer basketball and flag football coach.
If elected, Prokopiak pledges to champion legislation that seeks to restore the American dream for all in Lower Bucks County. Prokopiak will fight for attainable housing, quality jobs that pay livable wages and benefits, affordable healthcare for all, codifying women's reproductive rights into the Pennsylvania Constitution, and properly funding public education.
Prokopiak said he is supported by: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 269, Steamfitters Local Union 420, and Falls Township Supervisors Jeff Boraski, Jeff Dence, and John Palmer.
