Pennsylvania Mom's Crash Photo Shows Why Car Seats Are So Important
"THIS is why you buckle your kids into their car seats correctly every SINGLE time," the Pennsylvania mom wrote along with her photo.

LANCASTER, PA — A picture is worth a thousand words. And one Pennsylvania mom is hoping a picture of her recent car crash will be worth much more than that. Perhaps, even, a life.
Jenna Casado Rabberman, a mom from Lancaster, this week shared a photo on Facebook of a car crash her family was in. She says she shared the photo to demonstrate the importance of putting children in the proper car seats. As of Friday afternoon, the post has been shared more than 273,000 times on Facebook.
The picture, which you can see below, shows a completely mangled and destroyed car, next to two completely intact car seats. According to Rabberman's post, she was driving her children back from preschool and was just minutes from home when another car slammed into her Honda CRV on Sept. 25.

She said her two boys, ages 6 weeks old and almost 3, escaped without a scratch, thanks to the car seats. However, the paramedics on the scene said it would have been very different if they were not buckled properly.
"THIS is why you buckle your kids into their car seats correctly every SINGLE time. Even when they scream because the straps are tight. Even when they complain about the chest clip or being rear facing," she wrote.

She says she's hoping her post might save a life "by making someone think twice about buckling their child in."
