LANGHORNE, PA — Bucks County bikers raised $16,000 for breast cancer awareness and treatment at the "Pink Your Ride" event on Saturday.
Throngs of motorcyclists, decked out mostly in pink, gathered at St. Mary Medical Center for the 7th Annual Pink Your Ride for MIA (Motorcyclists Increasing Awareness). The ride benefited the St. Mary Breast Center and the Breast Health Initiative, which provides free mammograms for women without insurance.
It was sponsored by the Bucks County chapter of PA HOG (Harley Owners Group) in conjunction with Brian's Harley-Davidson.

"The Pink Your Ride event, and everyone that participated, helps make a difference for breast cancer survivors and their families," said Dr. Claire Streibert, a St. Mary radiologist who accepted the $16,000 check at the event. "We are truly blessed to share in this outpouring of support and simple human kindness from our community."
The event was founded by sisters Therese and Jaclyn Bingert in 2012. They came up with the idea for the ride as a memorial for their sister, Mia Bingert Wiecenski, who died from breast cancer in 2007.
