Police Issue Challenge After Anti-Cop Sign Hung In Levittown

'I would like to sit down with them and show them what we do as Police Officers so they can base their opinion on facts and not ignorance.'

Falls Township Police have issued a challenge to the person who hung an anti-cop sign on Lincoln Highway.

The sign, found Monday at 6 p.m. near Pennsbury Manufacturing, reads: "Only Good Cop - Is A Dead Cop."

"I would like to challenge the person or persons who made and hung the sign to stop into the Police Dept and speak to us. I know whoever did this did it out of ignorance. I would like to sit down with them and show them what we do as Police Officers so they can base their opinion on facts and not ignorance,"

The posts continues, "I doubt they will do this because they hung the sign in the middle of the night like a true coward that I think they are. But prove me wrong and lets get together maybe we can learn something from each other."

Falls Police stressed in the post that "this is America and anyone is well within their rights to hold such an opinion," however, police found the timing ironic. "Whoever did this did it on the anniversary of D-Day when thousands of young Americans died to make sure an idiot or idiots like this can express their opinions."
