Bank Robber Wanted In Lower Bucks Co. Have You Seen Him?

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are seeking the suspect who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on New Falls Road on Wednesday morning.

The Bristol Township Police Department said a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday on 4536 New Falls Road. and Veterans Highway on the border of Bristol Township and Middletown Township.

Lt. Sean Cosgrove said the man's appearance was obscured by a head-to-ankle garment and a medical / contractor’s mask.

Police said he passed a robbery note to a teller, stated that he had a weapon, but never actually displayed it.

An employee activated an alarm, and the male fled on foot into Middletown Township.

Officers from both police agencies responded. A search of the surrounding area was conducted using personnel, a K9, and a drone. The subject was not apprehended.

During the incident, a Bristol Township police officer was involved in a traffic collision with an uninvolved motorist. No injuries were reported.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
