Police Warn Of Phony PECO Notices In Penndel
The notice claims gas or electricity has been shut off and provides a phone number for residents to make a payment.

PENNDEL, PA — Police in Penndel Borough are warning the public after residents reported a phony notice from PECO being posted at their home.
Police say the notices are fraudulent and urge anyone who gets one not to call the number on them or otherwise provide any information.
They also were asking anyone with a surveillance camera who may have captured footage of someone suspicious on their property this week to call poice at 215-757-5151.

An image of the notice shared by police showed that it claims gas or electricity has been turned off and provides a number by which the resident can pay by credit card or check.
